The firm currently handles (as private prosecutor and defense lawyer) criminal cases arising from violations of the provisions of the Revised Penal Code of the Philippines and other special penal laws, such as, but not limited to the following: Estafa and various forms of swindling, other deceits, violation of BP Blg. 22, kidnapping and serious illegal detention, theft, qualified theft, violence against women and their children, physical injuries, reckless imprudence, falsification, and slander or oral defamation.
Civil law matters including cases for collection of sums of money, contracts and enforcement, damages, paternity and filiation, and cancellation or correction of entries in the Civil Registry, to name a few. The firm’s expertise in litigation in connection with family law includes declaration of nullity and annulment of marriage, support, and wills and succession.
The firm has valuable experience in general corporate matters, such as incorporation and by-laws, directors’ and shareholders’ rights, board meetings, and secretarial matters, among others.
The firm also handles various property law issues, such as foreclosure of mortgages, easements and servitudes, partitions, ejectment, quieting of title, sale, lease, donation, assignment, transfer, and conveyance of properties, among others. It also handles real property law litigation concerning violations of special laws relating to real estate, condominium, and subdivision development. The firm also has extensive experience in handling cases relating to issuance of land titles, reconstitution of lost titles, amendment of, and removal of annotation on, certificates of titles.
The firm handles applications of different IPs like patent, copyright, trademark, domain name and the like and representation in case of violations of IP rights. The firm’s legal services include: 1.) Application for registration of trademarks and other intellectual property; 2.) Monitoring of compliance with the Intellectual Property Office’s requirements and regulations over registered trademarks and other intellectual property; 3.) Rendering advice on various intellectual property law issues; 4.) Monitoring, among others, of marks which infringe on one’s registered trademark or trade logo; and 5.) Prosecution of cases involving violation and infringement of one’s proprietary rights over registered trademarks and other intellectual property rights.
The firm handles a full range of labor and employment law-related matters for employees or employer from various industries. The firm also provides advice on day-to-day employment issues as well as legal and practical solutions to highly complex labor concerns.
